ADAULD utilities on Adabas 744 on 24X7X356 environment

Hi,

It is bad notices that Adabas 744 and Adabas 813 don’t permit that you be executed ADAULD process with selection criteria with concurrent process update Adabas nucleus.

I don’t wanto to argue whether it makes sense to unload a file currently being updated, but -

you can always run an ADAULD from a SAVETAPE (online or offline) alternatively

Hi,

The problem is that nearly of 90% of ADAULD contains SELVAL and SELCRIT and some SORTSEQ. The option SAVETAPE don’t support neither SORTSEQ and SELCRIT.

Any other suggestions ?
