I think such a suggestion can be made as a change enhancement request, and I recommend you submit this through such channels.
While I can find knowing such stats useful when wanting to confirm for yourself or management the effectiveness of the maintenance, I can also understand resistance against such a change as this would add overhead to the ADARES REGENERATE or ADARES BACKOUT utility, and much effort has been made since enhancements implemented in version 7 to speed these utilities up.
Perhaps this could be optional.
