Regarding to build the ASSOCIATOR, is there a difference between ADALOD and REORFILE.
We had a discussion and some believe that the REORFILE doesn’t sort the
ASSO before rewriting it. ADALOD does it.

REORFILE does rebuild the Associator blocks and rebuilds the padding factor in the blocks. It does not reclaim “abandoned” ISN’s (ISN’s for deleted records). Using unloading, refreshing, and re-loading a file also accomplishes the latter.
