Wildcard SSL certificate

Hi,

Here’s the scenario. Host A is running webMethods IS 7.1.2. And there’s a host B.
Not considering any other issues, will host A support the https connections to and from host B, if host B runs with wildcard SSL certificate?

A wildcard certificate is a public key certificate which can be used with multiple hosts and/or subdomains of a domain. For example, a host named b2b.example.com has a certificate issued to *.example.com

Do you face any issue in connecting with server having wildcard SSL certificate? As for as client and server certificates are configured in proper manner there will not be any issue.
