Where are the Adabas databases stored?

Hi All,

This might be a very silly question but I could not stay away from posting my question here.

Going thru the ducmenatations, I did not find any hint of the original storage location of the adabas databases.

Can someone please throw some light on ‘where exactly the Adabas databases are stored?’

My wild guess is in the form of VSAM files.

No, Adabas containers, assuming we are talking about z/OS, are BASM / QSAM.
