What happend to the Application Designer?

Hi,
I am working in a project who uses CIS 2.4 as webframework. I heared that this tool is a bit “legacy”.

Could anyone tell me something about CIS?
E.g.:

  • What happend with this tool?
  • Is there a newer version available?
  • Is the source code of the old CIS available?

I know that CIS was CASABAC and 2.4 seems to be the last version. Thats all for now.
