what does a backup save?

Hi all,

I would like to know which files are saved when i do a backup of a database (i mean to say: xml instances, schema,…).

A backup will save everything that has been stored within the database, i.e. xml, nonxml, schema information, indices etc etc.

Just to be sure, therefore a backup save all information about security (group, user, …) too.
