For the Logs:
There are several methods depending on how logging is configured:
- check for “logs” directories under WM_ROOT for various logs
- some logs can be viewed via IS Admin/BrokerAdmin
- some sort of logging information can be obtained via WmMonitor

A good place to start with should be the “Logging and Monitoring Guide” available on Advantage in the Bookshelf section.
