webMethods drawing

I discovered coffee break page today morning. I wanna share something I created 5 years ago as a time pass.

Main service calls the sub service to do a task

My feeling about developer to designer transition. (I still miss developer tools’ trace to here debug feature)

You must be a long time webMethods user if you have experience with the old wM Developer tool
I’ve been working with wM since 2000 and started on v3.0.

I still miss Developer tool’s keyboard shortcut to link variables (CTRL + I) feature.

Developer certainly had it’s charms. And warts.

The one thing carried over from Developer to Designer that is large source of frustration – the limited editing capabilities of the JDBC (and Salesforce) adapter service panes. Incredibly frustrating and tedious for many simple tasks. One would think field level copy/paste would be implemented by now but still no. And editing the data type of a column? Arrggh.
