Software AG is pleased to introduce webMethods Adapter for HDFS. This adapter helps your organization to seamlessly read from Hadoop File System (HDFS) and also write into HDFS. With a variety of formats supported and the ability to read or write directly from Integration server documents without requiring transformation makes it very easy and friendly to integrate with Hadoop.

Dear Admin,

Could you please share the details on Hadoop versions which are supported and certified by this Adapter. I was unable to find the same in system or adapter requirements guide. Also do we have any samples or articles to start off.

Mahesh, you will see the adapter system requirements document with info now. For HDFS we now support Apache and Cloudera distributions. Hortonworks support is coming very soon.

Can we use this adapter with webMethods version 9.9 ?

The HDFS adapter is supported on the following IS versions: 9.8,
9.9, 9.10 and 9.12
