Want to know about functionality of simulator in community edition

Hi,
I am working on creating a simulator for a connected mobile device in the cloud tenant of cumulocity. I have created an empty simulator and configured the firmware with the connected mobile device details. When iam trying to restart the simulator created with the values of mobile device, iam getting the message as device restarted. Can anyone help me out with the actual working of simulator as i cannot see any messages in the info tab of connected mobile device.

sorry for the late reply. For me it is not totally clear what you are trying to achieve.

You set up a simulator on a Cumulocity cloud tenant, correct?

How do you add firmware there, as a simulator can’t have firmware added?
