Is anyone using this tool? Or is it so easy there simply are no questions?

Yes, it is in use. 
Reason for not much communication here may be that it is often just one (or two) person(s) per site that is involved in performing configuration of Event Replicator for Adabas. So totally just few persons are involved.
The needed communication could be handled with support in Empower.
