Tools & Documentation Extension

Hi there,

I have some own developed tools I would like to present in the left area “Tools & Documentation”, after calling the URL:

http://:49950/cis/HTMLBasedGUI/workplace/ide.html

How can I extend the left menu with new entries to also link to my own CAI applications?

For example “Development Tools” → Project Manager, Layout Manager, and my new Tool…

Hi Konstantin,

you can… - make a copy of the /HTMLBasedGUI/MFIDE-workplace page. In the copy replace the workplace provider class by own of yours. Your class should subclass (or contain) the original workplace provider class from us and can add additional item.

BUT: we do not guarantee that the arrangemenet of our topics/tree nodes will always be kept stable! I recommend to arrange all new functions in a topic on its own.
