The New Learning Portal

Where the learner experience begins with YOU

Continual improvement is an unending journey”.

In 2021, Software AG began offering FREE self-paced training, Digital Badges, and even online proctoring in an effort to make it easier to become self-sufficient in reaching your project goals.

Continuing with this focus, we are pleased to announce a new and improved Learning Portal https://learn.softwareag.com. You may be wondering, why did we make this change? What can you expect? And what does it mean if you are already enrolled in an active course? No worries, we are happy to share the details.

Let’s start with the “why”. The main objective of enhancing the Learning Portal is to simplify your experience just as Software AG technologies look to simplify the connected world through digital transformation.

“What” does this change mean for you? With a more streamlined course catalogue, it’s now easier to find the right course at the right time.

Also, finding the support you need has never been easier. The new Learner Support tab located on the main menu bar will provide direct access to Instructor-led training options, quick links to product documentation, TechCommunities or 1:1 coaching from one of our many subject-matter expert Instructors in Professional Services. Sounds good? We’re not stopping there. This is the first of many platform enhancements to come. The initial change will help to clear the way for things like, “Recently Released” course titles, “Recommended Courses” based on similar learner behaviors, new Specialty and Expert level badges for learners who have completed Onboarding and are ready for Continuous Learning and so much more. In the future you’ll be able to access everything from your very own learning dashboard where you can find your learning history including Certifications, Courses and Badges.

So “what” can you expect now? The official cutover to the new system is planned for July 18th. While there is no risk of losing your learning history or the progress of your current courses, we will be instituting a Blackout Period from July 12-17 as we prepare for the final cutover. During this time, you may not be able to access the Learning Portal. Be sure to take the necessary precautions with any time sensitive learning needs and check back with us on July 18th when we unveil the new site.

Once the new system is live, let us know what you think. We’d love to hear from you or answer any questions you may have as YOUR experience continues to drive our priorities. Feel free to reach us at Learning.Portal@softwareag.com.
