Tamino 3.1.1.3 on Linux 7.3 (Apache error)

I just installed Tamino 3.1.1.3 on SuSE Linux 7.3 (kernel 2.4.10) and used apache 1.3.19 from the CD. The installation finished without errors but I can’t reach the smh. When starting apache I get the following error:
----------
linux:/usr/local/apache/bin # ./apachectl start
[Sun Apr 21 16:38:26 2002] [error] Handler ino(vx.y): ino_rgs_init failed
with rsp 1
[Sun Apr 21 16:38:26 2002] [notice] Handler ino(vx.y): registry init
successful
./apachectl start: httpd started
------------
Thanks for any help.
Kind regards,
Stephan

Is this a new install or have you installed v3 alongside v2? Have all the various daemons started? What do you mean by “cant see the SMH”?

Kind regards,

Simon

Sorry but I forgot to add that the error you get from Apache startup is a known problem (loads of hits on SAGSIS) and it can be ignored as it does not seem to affect anything.

Kind regards,

Simon

There were two reasons why the smh could not be reached (http://:9991/smh/login.htm ):

1. The entries for the ScriptAliases in httpd.conf were missing (although the installation finished without errors…?)

2. My “old” Apache (1.3.21) was started during system boot. I stopped it manually and started the one that came with tamino. This might be the reason why I could not reach smh although all the sag-daemons (argml, argev, arg, xts) were running. After stopping and restarting all daemons everthing worked fine.(Thanks also to Gudrun Gelfand a Software AG, Darmstadt)
