sporadically, I’m having a stange effect with the Phoney keyboard:
I have to click above of the key to get the desired character (please see attached screenshot).
Is this known behavior?
Any clues?

Are you resizing the Phoney window? There was a bug a while back where
when the window was resized the touch events were misinterpreted to the
wrong position. But if you’ve been keeping Bedrock updated, this should
have been fixed some time ago.
