SAP R3 version 36 error messages

Hi
I am working on IS 3.6 and have installed the SAP R/3 IM 3.01, and am trying to get the connection going between SAP and webMethods. I am beginer to the SAP stuff and this version is old so cannot find much information… Basically after I setup my SAP Servers and Listeners - I did a test connection for the SAP - and this is the message I see in the logs - I dont understand what unknown_type:u means ? Any ideas?Snippet of log attached below.

2)Also when I send something from SAP to webMethods, my server shuts down… anyone know what could be causing this…

SSG, one word of caution. Although webMethods has a policy to support existing production implementations indefinitely, they won’t support new development on such an old release. You’d be much better off to push for upgrading to a supported release for the new development.

Hi

Just a followup - the type u seems to be set in the RFC Signature and thats why we keep getting unknown type. I am asking the SAP folks to take a look at their stuff. As for the upgrade - I dont know if these people will go for it, though I agree they will have to once support gets increasingly diff.
