Hello, - I was wondering, Is it possible to call the tamino optimizer and ask for the execution cost or plan ? (ie, like “show plan” in relational database optimizers) - I realize Tamino is a commercial product, would it be possible to obtain the source code for academic research ? Thank you very much. Hi, Salem! In the Tamino Interactive Interface (TII) you can change the drop down “Analysis” from “none” to “Default” and then you get execution information. As to your request for the source code I very much doubt it. The only possibility I can imagine is a cooperation (with a written agreement) between your university and SAG. Regards, Guenter
