Putting scheduler and file polling into \"quiet\"

Many of our applications are driven by services that are regularly invoked by the WM scheduler or by file polling.

When we deploy a package, it would be nice to put the scheduler and file polling into “quiet” mode so it doesn’t fire off any services while we’re unloading and loading packages. Does WM offer a simple way to do this? It would be nice not to have to manually suspend a couple of dozen services, then re-enable them afterwards.

webMethods Deployer will do exactly that for you. The “Project Properties” allow you to suspend Triggers, Ports and/or Scheduled tasks during deployment. It will automatically reenable them after deployment is complete.
