Process instance logged fields


We have a process model and for the first step of the process model, the receive step, we have defined a series of logged fields.

The problem we are encountering is that when the process instance fails (for whatever reason - business or technical) and we re-submitt the process instance, the logged fields are not longer present.

I am not sure if they are deleted by product functionality or they are simply lost or corrupt.

Does anyone have more information on this topic of the logged fields - why are they missing?



We still do not know why the process instance logged fields are lost, but as an alternative, the process instance step logged fields are still there and can be used.

As a result, we switched from using the process instance logged fields to process instance step logged fields.
