I found the following statements in a program. On execution MY REPORT is getting printed in bold letters bigger than normal font with underline. Please let me know how is this set. But in our new printer the same is not working. Please help me to understand this.

It seems to be PCL (Printer Control Language).
The bad news is every printer vendor (HP, Xerox, IBM, Epsom, Canon, etc) have its own proprietary PCL, so you have to tailor it accordingly.
The good news is there are heaps of documentation available on the Internet and it is likely to be available in your new printer documentation too.
