Posting XML Documents to Oracle XML Gateway

Hello Friends,

We have a requirement wherein we have to pick up the EDI 850 files from external customer, transform them to XML using the given XSD, and do a HTTPS post to Oracle XML gateway. I have the following queries:

  1. What is this Oracle XML gateway?

  2. Any special XML handler is required to post the data to this XML gateway.

  3. Anything different we need to do other than the client:HTTP:post service we use.

FYI…, We are using IS 7.1.2.

Any inputs from you all will greatly help me to develop the code in the right way.
