Payload is applicationoctetstream instead of applicationEDIX12

I’m receiving an inbound 810 from a partner via a VAN using EDIINT, and the payload data type is application/octet-stream instead of application/EDI-X12. Any ideas why? The record delimiter is a tilde, ISA and GS segments look fine.

This might happens when the initiater itself sending
Content-Type=“application/octect-stream” not “application/edi-x12”
in the EDIINT AS1 or AS2 (X12 810)document

In that received 810 document is the ST structure level look fine?
