Path tables and screen attributes

I have a situation where I need to add the screen attribute to a table that is built from a path so I can display it correctly when displaying the table on a combined screen.

I have added the field to the table (Table_Attribute) but I have been unable to correctly load the field attribute (foreground color) to the table field.

I’ve tried using expressions and mapping it to the new table field but I either am not loading it or am not pulling the value from the table correctly on the final display.

Any help would be appreciated.

assuming you are using APX5.2.5 and spoke to Sandu will copy his answer here for the future reference:

After looking at it more deeply ,you cannot do this with a path bases table but here are some options :

1.   Create a path that returns  String arrays , for each column on screen an array + 1 array for the color attribute. Than in .Net code you run the path and use the arrays outputs to  create a gx_table  manually, and set the colors in your table according to color array.
   

2.   Do the whole operation from base object and not from path
   

3.   Use the current Path based table , and then from the .Net go once again through the screens and collect the colors from the base object
   

4.   Do some change on the As-400 add a hidden field that contains the color or attribute about the row ( I never tested this in a path, I know that from base object it is possible to test hidden fields, I am not sure if they can be used in a table)
