Optimize

Hi Team,

Whether we need to use the same database for optimize/Analytical engine DB for the below environment?

  • 2 IS are clustered through LB
  • 2MWS are cluster through LB
  • Analytical engine not clustered… but installed on 2 different nodes (2 instances are running)

Any idea on this.

You have two Analytic Engine running on different nodes. AE supports only active/active cluster, and in order to configure it, you would need to install Terracotta server to configure AE in active/active cluster mode…

AE active/passive is not possible, and not supported!

It is highly recommended to have a separate database schema for BAM and not share this schema with any other products/components.

If analytical engines are in cluster (Activie/Active through TSA), whether we can share the same DB or still need to create a separate schema for this.

How to identify what all are the analytical engines are in clusters? Is there any command to identify that?

While implementing analytical engine clustering, need to modify any configuration in TSA?

You need to have the same DB schema for the AE’s that are part of cluster.
