Mediator and Tomcat 4

Hi! There,

Has anyone tried using Mediator on Tomcat4.*.

The Mediator 7.1.1.3 is known to work fine on Tomcat 4.0.4.

SAGSIS P228744 indicates Mediator v7113 does NOT work with Tomcat 4.1.10.

Mediator works fine with Tomcat 4.0.4 on Windows platform; however for Solaris I would recommend Tomcat 3.2.4 or 3.3.x.

I’ve been testing Orchestrator in Tomcat 4.0.0 and doesn’t work properly,
when i try to test the activation application i get the next message.:
javax.servlet.ServletException: com.softwareag.xbridge.exceptions.XException com.softwareag.xbridge.exceptions.XException embedded exception: RemoteException occurred in server thread; nested exception is:
java.rmi.UnmarshalException: error unmarshalling arguments; nested exception is:
java.net.MalformedURLException: no protocol: Tomcat


and i don’t know how to resolve it.

This message means that you have white spaces in Tomcat’s installation path.
This is the default for Tomcat but Mediator doesn’t like it.
Reinstall Tomcat and Mediator.
