Hi,
We are using external LDAP service on wM 7.1 and we have configured it on MWS. Sometimes when IS was not able to connect to LDAP server then after all retries configured on MWS, the service become disabled and users are not able to login.
I would like to know is there any facility like OFI or any email facility to send alert when it gets disabled.

Did you look at the MWS Administrators guide esp the section "Exposing LDAP Attributes from an External Directory Service"? It narrates about E-mail routine for the service not sure this works for you…
But as far i know there is no such notification facility unless manual check and at any point IS should be up and running.Also no function available in OFI for service disability.
