LDAP authentication

We had a new installation of Centrasite and i tried to configure the LDAP authentication in Systems Management Hub.

  1. After filling in the required fields and clicking ok, there was a ‘Time-out’ error. Not sure if the LDAP configuration was setup properly or not.

  2. The time stamp for urm_config file was not changed

  3. Logging to Centrasite was prevented for admin user, as it now tries to validate against the LDAP server. Unfortunately, we did not setup the Admin user in our LDAP server.

My question is
Why the time stamp of urm_config was not changed?
if it’s not changed, then why Centrasite is looking to validate agains LDAP?

How do we fix this?
