installing IS 4.6 w/o using root on Unix

Hi…

Is it possible to install Integration Server 4.6 using a non-root user on unix? My company’s policy does not allow third party softwares on our unix systems to be owned by root. If it is possible, can someone provide the details?

Thanks!

Run the installation as the user you wish to have the server run as. The directory you want to install into must be owned by that account.

Alternatively, you can install as root then chown -R the Integration Server base directory to the id you want to run as.
