HTTP authentication problem invalid credentials

Hello,

this ist my first post to wmusers and it seems quiet a simple problem to solve but I do not know how.
The problem is: I do an HTTP-post from my 6.0 developer to a service on a Business Connector, which has anonymous access. I receive the error message

om.wm.app.b2b.server.ServiceException: com.wm.net.NetException: [ISC.0064.9314] Authorization Required: Invalid credentials

I receive no http status and no http error, just this java error. There is no proxy inbetween and no firewall. When I call the service of the business connector from an Internet Explorer it works fine, anonymous access, no password required.

Does anyone know what explains the different behavior of the integration server and the web browser on my client?

Best regards,
Gunter

Gunter,

The only thing I could think of is expired session. That is only if you had a session idle for a while. Does this happen every time even the first time after you login?.

Gunter,

Are you specifying anything in the authentication record when doing the http post? Have you tried with admin credentials to see if will go through? It could be usefull to post the stacktrace of the error that you are seeing on the BC.

Hello,

sorry for my late reply.
I cannot explain why this happened, but the problem was solved by implementing certificates on the business connector.

Best regards,
Gunter

HI GUNTER,

I am currently facing the same problem.....can you specify how to Implement certificates...

        Immediate help is appreciated.

Thanks & regards,
Teja.
