How to hide text in the EI?

Hi,

I am in the process of writiing a custom adapter. One thing I like to do is to enter some information for each operation template in the enterprise integrator. However, I will need to hide the information as a clear text. I know hide to hide clear text in the adapter configuration tool but not in EI. Does anyone know if the ADK provide such API?
