How to extract the username from the header token?

Dear all,

Can anyone please help me to find a solution to my issues mentioned below?

1.How can I extract the username from the header token ?

2.The token returns the username with domain, for example deepak@gmail.com. I want to extract only Deepak from the username. How to do this?

I am very new to SoftwareAG webMethods and I am asking sorry in advance for asking silly questions.

Can you please elaborate on what type of API you are using (REST or SOAP) and what type of token are you trying to interspect?
