How to convert the Uppercase letter to lowercase

Hi,

I need to convert the email address from upper case to lower case?
EXample:Pamela.Laperla@qwest.com to pamela.laperla@qwest.com.There r so many emails in database how to convert all the emails…

If any one knows plz provide the solution.
