How to configure webMethods connectivity with SAP S/4 HANA

Hello,

Can you please help me on configuring webMethods connectivity with SAP S/4 HANA?

  1. Initial set-up: what jars are required.
  2. Any IS version dependency
  3. Any special connectivity consideration on on-premise S/4 HANA, any tunneling required if S/4 HANA hosted on AWS

I have went through almost all the threads present in SAG TECH forum here, but unable to find above.

Thanks in advance.

Warm Regards.

I know that SAP Adapter supports SAP S/4 HANA On-Premise Edition running in AWS, review the guide

To configure webMethods connectivity with SAP S/4 HANA, the following are required:

  1. Initial set-up: what jars are required.
Same with connecting to SAP ECC 6.0. SAP Adapter will be utilizing RFC/BAPI to communicate with SAP S/4 HANA. For details of the libraries, refer to http://techcommunity.softwareag.com/ecosystem/documentation/webmethods/adapters_estandards/Adapters/SAP/SAP_10-1/10-1_Adapter_for_SAP_webhelp/index.html#page/sap-webhelp%2Fto-install_5.html%23

  2. Any IS version dependency
As long as running on IS server currently in support and also certified to run with SAP Adapter 7.1 or SAP Adapter 10.1

  3. Any special connectivity consideration on on-premise S/4 HANA, any tunneling required if S/4 HANA hosted on AWS.
This should be best checked with SAP AG support, by asking them whether third party software connecting to SAP S/4 HANA hosted on AWS/Azure requires any additional step.
