How to add users using the Active Directory and enable windows auth

Hi Guys,

I am trying to add users to CentraSite through the use of our Corporate Directory. I am struggling to find and enable this capability. The documentation doesn’t help much or i haven’t found the right/appropriate content.

For AD access you should use LDAP as well, as the local OS + ADSI modes are deprecated.

To be honest it’s my first time using the tool and this is a fairly technical requirement so the guidance I need is very much a step by step approach. To a different and more ‘configurations’ knowledgable audience the documentation may be very useful but to me, its greek to say the least.


On the empower support web site you will find a tool which interactively walks you through the config steps.
The tool is called SSXLDAPValidator
