I have read the High Availability Option (4.1.1) Installation Guide for Sun Cluster.
Enterprise HA options are supported through webMethods Professional Services due to the large variability in clustering implementations. The Professional Services team has a great deal of experience in these implementations and can provide further details on how the HA options are designed to work and what each component provides.
As you might imagine, the hardware does most of the ‘heavy lifting’ in these installations and the faultprobe and scripts simply tie the Enterprise Server into that hardware process.
