Encrypt JDBC Connection from Application Server to CONNX JDBC Server

Please advise if there is a way we can encrypt the data sent from an application server to the CONNX JDBC server. The connxjdbc.jar is deployed to the application server.

We will be testing the encryption feature between the JDBC server and the ADABAS SQL Gateway as well by setting ENCRYPT=1 in the configuration file.
