Difference between running the Integration Server in Physical machine Vs Virtual Machine?

Hi Experts,

We would like to install our integration server on Virtual Machine. Can you please suggest your inputs for pros & cons and challenges we face if we do it on VM?

Most of the clients I have seen (past 4 years from now) are moving to VM/Cloud hosted VM’s due to their own benefits.
