Device Management - Case-Insensitive Search in device Grid

Hello Forum,

In the All Devices grid of Device Management, is there a method or hook available to override the existing search and filter functionality to enable case-insensitive searching?

Hi Divya, “All devices” grid as a UI component uses backend features to make the searches:

• the main search functionality relies on backend’s text parameter (Cumulocity IoT - OpenAPI Specification) which ignores case but also does full text search and exact matches as described in UI functionalities and features - Cumulocity IoT documentation,
• filtering functionality in columns relies on backend’s q parameter which uses a query language with case-sensitive string comparisons (Cumulocity IoT - OpenAPI Specification)

I now have a better understanding of the search functionality. However, my question about whether there is a method or hook available to override the existing filter functionality still stands.
