Data Base statement Execution

Hi All,

I need to execute a data base re-set statement (dbms_session.reset_package) from our webMethods code logic.

Can some one please help on how to execute the same.

wM Version:8.2
Oracle Data base.

Can’t you run a SP for doing this task? Is that a possible option please check with your DBA if they can suggest this route.

Hi,

Yes, sp is definitely an option, but I was trying if we can handle this sample operation inside our webMethods flow only.Was trying with custom/dynamic adapter but no luck.
Please suggest, if there is any way we can handle inside our webMethods.

I don’t think so normal operation thru can be accomplished for this type of function. Please try with SP as the alternate and test how it goes.

I don’t think so baharul. You better go with SP or function. If not satisfied, please write to SAG to get some inputs.
