Converting non-EDI templates 46.to 6.5 error

When I attempt to migrate non-edi templates to 6.5 using the migrate templates process in the managment screen I get a 'Failed: Segment delimiter cannot be null".
Can anyone help?

The conversion services expect the tag to be a top level tag. The top level tag in this case is . This can be addressed by calling the service wm.b2b.edi.migration:migrateTemplate directly and mapping the document directly to the service input oldTemplate.
