I would like to connect one adapter (for example an intelligent ioadapter) by using the Java code and not the adapter configuration. Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Can you clarify your question some?
yes, i would like configure and start an adapter whithout using that “adpater configuration”.
As far as configuration goes you’ll probably need to run the adapter config the first time to get the adapter created and an entry in the adapters.cfg file.
