I am new to webMethods. Can anyone suggest a proper way to learn webMethods? Also what books should I refer to get basic knowledge about EAI.

The best way is to go to the advantage site fo webMethods and download the complete suite of the wM documents.
Depending on u’r requirements u could start reading the docs. U could start from reading introduction to wM’s ,Developers guide then dig into the rest.
