Backing Up Broker Config

We use server_conf_backup to periodically backup the broker configuration data. I’ve heard/read conflicting reports about the ability to back up the config data while the Broker is active. Do I need to shut down the Broker before saving the config data or can I save while active?

According to the 7.1 Broker Admin Guide … [FONT=PalatinoLinotype-Roman][SIZE=2]“This utility can be used while Broker Server is running.”
