Hi Friends,

I can able to access remote file which is in shared folder using getFile service, by giving the path \179.11.23.112\WM\sample.pdf
here webMethods is installed in windows machine. so I can read the file using getFile from the shared path.

But I am unable to read the file from same shared direcory using getFile service from webMethods which is installed in UNIX

getting below error:

Could not run ‘getFile’.

com.wm.app.b2b.server.ServiceException: [ISS.0086.9256] File [\179.11.23.112\WM\sample.pdf] does not exist

even I tried by giving forward slashes. getting the same error.

Any experts to give answer???

Try with Mounted directory and with forward slashes for Unix path.You can check with unix guys there to help on the exact path shared to your IS.
