I have used adamon on unix but why is this utility not available on windows platforms?
Will it become available in the future?
ADAMON for a long time was not availabe as an official utility, because it has been implemented based on Unix specific system functionality, and therefore was not available on Windows.The reason to officially release this utility on Unix was, that we have ported Adabas v6.1 to OpenVMS, and the old v4.1 available on OpenVMS included ADAMON; and customers upgrading from v4.1 to v6.1 wanted to keep this functionality.
Whether this feature is implemented on Windows depends on how many customers request for it. If you want to get this feature on Windows, please create an enhancement request for it. Please note that there is a lot of requirements, but only limited development resources.
