8.2 SP1 fix's on IS and MWS - Central User Manager initialization failed with error

All,

I have just applied fix’s using the Update manager - 8.2.1.0 that includes Common Lib’s, IS and MWS fixs.

Both IS and MWS complain about the Central User Manager initialization failure.

Have you come across this error and any resolution steps for this issue?

[ISS.0024.0010C]I have similar problem (IS: IS_8.2_SP2_Core_Fix6) (MWS: 8.2.1.0.112)
I configure Directory Service in MWS and it’s fine - found users from ActiveDirectory.
IS:
Central User Manager initialization failed
LDAPException…

Any idea?

Did you try going with 8.2.2 (SP2) fixes for IS/MWS instead of still using SP1?

Dear RMG,
SP1 fix’s that we applied for the first time on top of 8.2.1 env. and for now there is no plan for going with 8.2.2.

Seperate dir for IS/MWS & Broker was setup.

Is there any impact on common lib’s if we do not install them along with the individual server
component fix’s?

It depends on how the particular fix is designed/deployed which folders are being affected…any idea from the readme notes?
