Running 4.1.1 on Solaris 2.8, and I was importing an adl file. The file was fairly small (80K) but the broker server appeared to crash and did not restart itself.
Had the unix admin restart the broker but after I restarted the adapter monitor a core dump would happen.
Repeated the process a few time then decided not to start the adapter monitor. It looks like the broker server is running based on output in the broker.info file and doing a ps -ef | grep wment.
Though when I take any webMethods tool, such as the enterprise manager, it shows that the broker server is not running.
I have not experienced a situation where the broker appears to be up based on looking at the unix (ps, and log files) system, but appears to be down according to all webMethods apps.
Don’t know where to go from here.
