Interestingly I don’t see this issue in windows env. It tend to appear only in AIX running on IBM jvm 1.4.1
Thank you. That is a very important piece of information. AIX JVM has more idiosyncrasies that any other platform we support. There may be some unique JVM tuning parameters (or a uniquely bad JVM Heap Manager) on AIX.
Our performance folks should get back to the SR with whatever tuning options they like. It may also be worth seeing if running with IBM JVM 1.4.2 has better results.
