Using JVM 1.6 on IS 7.1.2

Hi,

I am doing a POC to upgrade our existing IS instances(7.1.2) to use JVM 1.6.
Has anyone done this? If so, were there any challenges, implications?
Are there any tools/packages to do a feasibility test?
